ICYMI WOW Wednesday #9 3/29/2023 From Principal Toy

Inspiration: What an absolute joy it was to celebrate our amazing students in Lion King Junior! Their passion, talent, and hard work shone on stage. This is due to the incredible dedication and artistry of our staff without whom this could never have been possible. Thank you so much again to Laura Brown, Jill Higa, Regina Yamamoto, Melissa Brown, Crystal Alejandro, Candice Yamamoto, Janae Kremer, Marissa Carlos, Angie Ramey, Mike Bio, Cindy Reyes, Virma Menor, Michell Sanchez, Sheila Tomas, Jessica Paterson, Ashley Shin, Tiare Silva, Mindy Pamatigan, and Tammi Umeno all taking distinct roles leading up to and during show time/bake sale. Truly it takes a village and I feel so fortunate to celebrate the brilliance of this one!

Inspiration: I would also like to celebrate Angie Ramey for coordinating a school visit from #1 NYT Best Selling and Newbery Award winning author Kwame Alexander! Mr. Alexander captivated our 3rd-5th graders with his stories, including how he submitted his book over a dozen times to be published and faced many "no's" before he received the one needed "yes." Thank you for helping excite our students around reading, Angie!
