The Kapolei Middle School Math Invitational was held on Saturday.  Our math team won the TOP AWARDS in Individual and Team Divisions.  Our students were also finalists  in the ‘Olelo Youth Xchange and attended the banquet last week.  

CONGRATULATIONS to our amazing Na Hihimanu!

Thank you to Laura Brown, Deb Eveland and Ashley Shinn for putting in the time with these students who represent Ho‘okele so proudly in our community!  


If your grade level is doing an end of the year activity and you would like to have accommodations for your activity (use of water, field, piko, etc…) please indicate your activities HERE.  This will allow us to coordinate your needs for the activities.

April has certainly showered Ho'okele with a number of events, community engagement, and reasons to celebrate.

Inspiration: Thank you to Ashley and Joanne for leading a successful and exciting Family Engineering Night! We had so much support as well from teachers in all grade levels. Our community was very excited to have this event back in-person. 


Inspiration: Mahalo to Mike, Sheila, Elizabeth, and Franny for all being present and hands-on for our Campus Beautification day on Saturday! It was great to see different stakeholders come together and give back on Earth Day. 


Inspiration: Thank you to Deb for leading our Track Team, along with PTA Parent Jenn. Our 5th graders did an AMAZING job on Wednesday and medaled in the vast majority of events. We are so proud of them and thank all who supported that day. 


Updates:

  • Superintendent Visit Cancelled: Unfortunately, Superintendent Hayashi is no longer able to visit our campus on Friday. However, I am assured he will want to reschedule to see all the amazing parts of Ho'okele! Thank you to everyone for preparing to welcome him on campus.

  • School of the Future: If you are interested in attending the Schools of the Future Conference in November, there are scholarship opportunities available! See both links for more information.

  • EES Information: Please check your emails for updates from admin regarding both on-cycle and off-cycle requirements as we draw closer to the end of the school year.

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do!
