Updates for Week of September 23, 2019

Information for Teachers and Staff
Picture Taking Schedule  for this Thursday is linked.  Staff without classrooms can take pictures in the morning at the cafeteria. Teachers and EAs may take pictures with your classes.  SMILE 🙂!
Please note there is indoor recess for 1st recess for all grade levels due to the picture taking schedule on Thursday.  Students do not need to wear or change into uniforms for Picture Day.

Your Parent-Teacher Conference forms for students with multiple children at the school was due on Friday-Turn it into the office right away if you have not and/or as soon as you get them back from families.  Wednesday we will be doing the auction to schedule multiple families. You can also bring your single child forms to the conference so you can complete your schedule after the multiple families have been scheduled.  You will need to make copies of your master conference schedule to give one to the office, post and keep an original. Conference confirmation forms get sent home to families by 9/26 (Thursday). Please review the materials provided to you regarding PT conferences and ask our veteran teachers for help if needed.

Our CAS, Mr. Sean Tajima, will be coming to visit on Friday.  His visit will include walkthroughs around campus and he will be visiting classrooms.  There is no particular schedule for which classrooms will be visited, just be aware that we may be in your class sometime between 11:30-1:30 pm.

Information for Students
Just 2 more weeks 'til the end of the quarter!  Great job with our safety drills last week! We feel you are now prepared to handle any emergencies we may face at the school.
Picture Day is this week, Thursday!  You do not need to wear your uniform but make sure that your clothes meet all requirements of our dress code policy.
On Friday, we will have visitors to the campus, including our Complex Area Superintendent, Mr. Tajima, who may be in your classrooms.  Please be polite and welcoming, however, this should not disrupt your learning. Keep working on what you are doing, but answer any questions they may have for you about what you are learning.
Have a great week!
