Information for Teachers and Staff
From Aloha Club Committee (Grade 2):
You are invited to join Ho`okele Elementary School's Aloha Club for the 2019-20 school year! Guidelines for the Aloha Club Committee and an Invitation to join the club have been placed in your mailbox. For staff members that do not have a mailbox, there are some forms placed next to the staff sign-in binders. If you did not receive one, or it was lost, you can find both documents attached to email sent by Katie Yamamoto on 8/29.

The Aloha Committee will hold social get-togethers for the staff; remember members who are ill or are suffering bereavement; honor the newly wedded members, new fathers and mothers, and recognize new and out- going staff. The Aloha Club Membership is optional, and does require a small fee to join. If you are interested in joining the Aloha Club for SY 2019-20, Please fill out the form with an attached payment by Friday, September 20. Forms and payments may be placed in Jodee Spencer's mailbox (Grade 2). 

Welcome back to Ms. Kim in grade 5!  She will be returning to her classroom this week.  Best wishes to Ms. Shinn who will be on leave starting this week!  

We would like to extend our appreciation to Ms. Eveland for opening up Ms. Kim’s classroom.  Ms. Eveland will also be supporting our resource classes this week for Hawaiian Studies. Mahalo Ms. Eveland!
Look forward to this Wednesday’s training on differentiation from Michelle Suzuki. Next week, Tuesday will be math PD with Tremain Nelson.

Information for Students
Please remember that as a Ho‘okele student, it is important to follow our behavior expectations at all times.  Whether it be on the bus, before school, after school, during resource classes or at A+, you are always a Ho‘okele student and we expect the best.

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do!
