National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th to October 15th!
Schools can promote Hispanic Heritage Month by: Organizing cultural activities: Consider cultural performances, art exhibits, and food recipes to showcase Hispanic and Latino culture. Inviting guest speakers: Invite Hispanic and Latino professionals to share their experiences and inspire students. Integrating Hispanic and Latino history and culture into the curriculum: Incorporate Hispanic and Latino history, literature, and art into lessons across different subjects. Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment: Ensure that all students feel valued and respected, regardless of their cultural background. (Thanks Gemini for the assist!) |
