Appreciations Thank you to Laura Brown for sharing the link for the weekly broadcast and to our school counselors and students in Mrs. Duldulao’s class for sharing with us. Check it out to learn about Akahai and our school fundraiser!! Thank you to Ho‘okele PTA for getting the ball rolling on our 1st fundraiser for the year! Here is a message about the fundraiser that was emailed to staff: Aloha! We hope the first week of school has been well for you. We are all excited to be back and are ready to kick off the school year with our biggest annual Regal Fundraiser! If you haven't already, please check your mailboxes in the front office for your and your student's envelopes and distribute them as soon as possible. Our sales start on Thursday, August 15 and will run until Tuesday, September 3. If you did not receive a Regal Fundraiser envelope and would like to have one, please pick one up from the front office.
Our goal of $20,000, this year, will help us to continue to fund our student initiatives and to help our school, staff, and our amazing teachers as well. Thank you all again for your support. Lets rock this fundraiser! Thank you to Ms. Emma, Ms. Kristen Lono and Mr. Cam for taking the lead on Anchored 4 Life for this school year. 4th and 5th grade teachers may nominate students for team leaders. We will also be looking at identifying students in all classes to be crew members who help support our new and transitioning students in each class. Check in with one of the advisers for more information! Thank you for your continuous support with the i-Ready testing. Please review your grade level completion linked to Regina and Ashley’s email sent last Thursday and continue to have your students work on their diagnostic assessments next week. We hope to have all Grades 1-5 students finished by Thursday, August 22nd. The kindergarten students will begin their tests this week. |
