Time is flying by us for this quarter!  It is hard to believe we are almost at the end of Q3!  


TATP #1 is now open.

Posting of eligible positions are available by the sign-in binders at the front office.

If you have not already, please let administration know if you intend to apply to any position.

*As a reminder, teachers in their last semester of probation are unassigned for their job for

SY 23-24 and must reapply to their position; or any other available position that is posted.


ICYMI WOW Wednesday #4 from Principal Toy (2/15/2023)

Inspiration: 

1) A visit to Ms. Cabudol's classroom featured math stations complete with student leadership roles and purposeful groupings so each level could get individualized feedback on their formative data -- it was an inspiring, student centered set-up! 

2) At the end of last week, I was in the 3rd grade wing and I passed a student in the hallway. I wished her a happy Friday and asked her if she was excited for the weekend. She said, "Not really, Ms.Toy...I love school!" I so appreciated her answer and know that so many students feel the same way. What can we do to keep that love of learning alive? 

Updates:

  • Funding requests are due next week. Please make sure you upload your funding request proposals by next Wednesday, February 21 at 1:35 PM. The folders for uploading are here. As a reminder, funding Request should be greater than $500 (which is used for Classroom Supply Funds)

  • I am pleased to share that Ms. Tori Rooke will be filling in as our Grade 2 & 3 Counselor for the remainder of this school year! Please take note as she will be very helpful in following up with student support.

  • TATP #1 postings will be made available to teachers this Friday, February 17.

  • The summer OG training has two different options. Fill out your preference here. Please know responses will be considered on a first come, first serve basis as each session is capped at 25 participants.

  • Next Wednesday will be in Home Groups -- please meet in your individual grade level areas.

  • Our 4th Quarter CARES Assembly date has been adjusted from Wednesday, May 17th to Monday, May 15th! The school calendar has also been updated.

updates for the mid-week!  Check out her email for the attachments.




Operations note:

Recently it was noticed there are some discrepancies with the bell schedule and yard duty schedules.  There have also been coverage issues related to staffing for before school and some recess blocks.  These matters are being looked into and we will provide you with updates once the issues are clarified and corrected as needed.  Despite these issues, we appreciate all of you for stepping in when you see a need and contacting the office when additional support is required to ensure the safety of our students.  Please continue to assist with this by notifying the office when you are unable to complete your assigned coverage and by notifying your subs of your yard duty assignments.

Additionally, if you are interested in swapping out your recess duty for a morning supervision role, please contact VP Pamatigan.
