Aloha!
Thank you everyone for all of your flexibility and dedication to your students during our first week of SBA interim testing! It’s a busy time and with so much going on it was great to see everyone chipping in and lending a hand to help in whatever areas we found ourselves short. Whether that was wiping tables, staying out for yard duty, proctoring testing or teaching/subbing in resource and homeroom classes-our village came through and got things done! I saw many of you from our custodians, cafe, and office staff to our teachers lending those extra hands when we needed it most! Did you know what an outstanding art teacher Mr. Rankie is?? All of your help is noticed and appreciated!
This week should be equally as busy and we thank you ahead of time for helping us succeed!
Thank you for completing your fire drills with students. Here is the documentation form. In case you missed the email (sent Monday, January 24), for extra safety precautions, this month’s drill is being conducted asynchronously to provide adequate social distancing. You may conduct as a grade level or class.
You may have received an email from Panorama with your survey results on Friday. The email was sent to DOE gmail addresses for eligible teachers who had at least 10 survey responses. Please check that email for your results. All teachers will be doing reflections as part of your EES requirements. Those who did not get a result will be asked to reflect on the school wide results. More details will be shared at a later date regarding the reflection on these results.
If you are receiving a paper copy of your W-2, please see Fili in the office to sign for it. Most of you should have access to your electronic W-2 on the HIP website. As a reminder, that is only accessible on the DOE server.
Keep up the incredible work you are doing. Take some time to do some checking in with your students, families, colleagues and most importantly yourselves. Stay focused, strong and amazing! Enjoy your week!
