Updates for Week of September 28, 2020
We will be holding a short faculty meeting on MONDAY from 12:15-12:45 pm to share updates for students’ return to campus. We will be sharing the latest updates from our complex area and plans for our school. We hope you can listen in and we look forward to your feedback to help guide our planning.
Thank you for meeting with us as we know it will be a busy Monday with PLCs, home Group Meetings and Supply Pick up.
The report card window is open and will remain open for you through the end of the scheduled PT conferences (10/30). More information will be shared soon about scheduling and holding virtual conferences. We will be using a scheduling program called My Conference Time to set up the appointments for conferences 10/21-10/30.
Don’t forget to announce your CARES awardees to your class if you haven’t done so already.
As we finish out this first quarter, we really want to share our gratitude with everyone for helping to make this quarter happen. It has always taken a village to achieve great things for students and everyone of us has had to adjust our normal way of doing our jobs. Thank you for your flexibility, patience, creativity, perseverance, innovation and your overall amazing efforts to help our students learn and grow. Thank you so much and enjoy your well deserved Fall Break!

Aloha Students!
Congratulations to our Quarter 1 CARES awardees! This has been a challenging and exciting quarter for everyone and we are very proud of all of our awardees for representing our school’s vision and mission, even through distance learning. GREAT JOB! The CARES awardees will be notified this week by your teachers.
Students in grades 4 & 5 will be voting for this year's Student Council officers on Monday. Please vote responsibly by selecting students who you know will do a good job. Show mutual respect by not sharing who you voted for. Results of the elections will be announced on Tuesday at 2:00 pm through Seesaw.
You have resource classes this week-be sure to check Seesaw for your lessons and assignments for coding, visual arts, music and PE on Monday. Have fun and be sure to complete your assignments by Friday.
Monday afternoon is a supply pick up for you to have learning resources for Quarter 2. We hope to see you (safely from a distance!) during your pick up time. Information has been emailed to your families about when and where to go.
We hope you have a great last week before our Fall Break (October 5-9, 2020).
We are proud of ALL of you and know how hard you have worked in distance learning.
Enjoy your break and we look forward to seeing you soon.
We will be continuing with distance learning when we return from Fall Break,
so we will see you online then!
On behalf of your Principal and Vice Principals, take care, be safe and be amazing!
