Information for Teachers and Staff
Thank you everyone for a fairly smooth first week of school! This will be the first week for ALL kindergarten students and we appreciate any support you can provide for the morning and after school routines. Please review some of the reminders for recess that are listed in the student information section below for all students.
Janelle shared the picture taking schedule for K and new students with you on Friday. Please review times for K classes and new students. K teachers, please bring your students to cafeteria. Janelle will pick up new students in 1-2. Upper grade students can be sent to cafe at designated time. Picture taking is on cafeteria stage. There have been some updates since Friday, so please check the emails and plan on being flexible!
ALL STAFF reminder that your OSYP forms are due this Thursday.

Information for Students
Welcome Kindergarteners! We hope you enjoy your very first full week of school!
Grades 1-4 will be taking iReady diagnostic assessments this week. Please take these tests very seriously as they will help your teachers know what you know and what help you need!
ALL BUS RIDERS should report to the cafeteria on Tuesday at 1:50 pm for information about expectations on the bus. Bring your bags as you will be dismissed right to the bus.
After observing you all at recess during the first week of school, here are some reminders about what is and what is not permitted:
- Treatment equipment with care.
- Do not hang or climb soccer nets snacks
- Returning equipment to where you found it.
- Do not stand, climb or ride on any equipment carts.
- Do not pull on tetherballs or throw by the rope. Allow an adult to take them off of the poles.
- No students are allowed in the equipment room
- TAG is NOT allowed.
- Eat snacks in the area alongside courts ONLY. Throw trash in trash cans and do not leave anything behind!
If you ride your bike or scooter to school, we ask that you WALK (not RIDE) while on campus sidewalks. This is for your safety. Also, bike and scooter riders are STRONGLY advised to wear a helmet! We care about you, take care of yourself!
Your teachers will be introducing 2 lessons to you this week on recognizing and reporting bullying. Look forward to learning what you can do to keep our school safe from bullies!
