Please note:  The Orton Gillingham Trainings scheduled for this week and next week have been canceled.

For testing grades-thank you for reminding your students about the seriousness of practicing good test taking skills.  It is important that students know what is appropriate test taking behavior and what is not acceptable.  This has become increasingly more important with our standardized testing and we thank you for helping prepare your students.  Please refer back to the test wiseness presentations or consult with Jared if you have any questions.

Information for Students
Please review and remember our school cell phone policy:

Cell Phone Policy:
We recognize that cell phones have become a common tool for communication.  However, they have also become a major distraction to the learning environment and are vulnerable to theft.  We ask that you allow your child to carry a cell phone only if absolutely necessary. A child who brings a cell phone to school is responsible for their own property.

Students are allowed to carry cell phones to school.  However, phones must be turned off and stored out of sight during school hours.  Phones may not be used to talk, take pictures, play games, record or text while on school campus, including before school, after school, on the bus and at recesses.   
Students who do not follow this policy will be asked to put their cell phones away.  A student who refuses to put away their phone or continues to use the phone inappropriately or at inappropriate times may be referred to the office for insubordination.

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do!
