Information for Faculty and Staff
Our next Linking Walk will be on Wednesday, January 31st.

Below, you'll find links to the schedule and observation templates. Linking Walk #3 is to monitor the progress and check on the clarity of the Learning Intentions and Success Criteria, as well as to determine what type of additional support is needed.

If there are any schedule conflicts, please let us know as soon as possible.




Parking Lot check-please be sure to have your parking pass up when parking in our lots.  We will be doing a parking lot check on Friday 2/2 to assess the parking and see how our efforts have been in keeping our stalls reserved for staff only.

Please remind all students that Tag is not to be played during recess.  We've been having students in the lower grades running around, pushing/hitting others in passing. Students in upper grades are using Kahakai as a "home base", creating an unsafe act by jumping on and off the equipment.  Let's remind our students about Safety First and the importance of everyone's well being.

Information for Students
Recess reminders:  No chasing or tag games are allowed.  This includes hide and seek if you are chasing someone and tagging them.  This is for safety reasons.  We encourage you to run in the grassy areas (not on sidewalks).  

Congratulations to our 6 team leaders for Anchored4Life!  Alyssa, Domonic, Lily, Paige, Bailey and Brandy from grades 4 and 5 completed their training last week.  We will be recruiting crew members shortly to help us with this transition program to help our students as they move in, move out and deal with other situations that occur.

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do!
