Information for Teachers
Thank you for your support of the resource teachers last week.  This week they will likely still need help with schedules and transitions, so your help is always appreciated.  The resource teachers are giving points to the classes based on behavior, so let students know they want to earn the max. of 15 points!  I will share the points with you daily on your resource days along with any notes, feedback or questions from the resource teachers.
On Monday and Tuesday for K and 1 lunch we will be practicing how to walk to the courts from the cafe and how to WALK to the recess areas when dismissed.  Thanks in advance to all of those who can help us teach this routine to students.  If you are joining us-see you at about 11:35 by the courts.
Next week Monday will be our first fire drill.  Please be sure to go over the routines THIS week with students so they know what to expect and know where to go.  The line up area is on the field just past the hills.  We will have cones up for the drill to help you identify where to line up.
This week Thursday and Friday we have trainings scheduled to be on campus.  When we have trainings, we ask teachers and staff to fill in the back and side parking areas prior to using the front (North parking lot).  We should have enough stalls and street parking to accommodate these trainings, so please only park in marked stalls.
Wednesday is set aside for your home group meetings from 1:10-2:35 pm.  Friday is our PD day-Grades K and 4 have snacks and more information will be shared regarding lunch...We may be able to get a lunch wagon to cater to us on Friday.

A bright spot to note:  Thanks to Tiari, Decy and Kristen for letting the resource teachers visit your class last week to see how “perfect” students should look when following classroom routines.  You set the standard high and gave a very visual model of what we should expect in student behavior! Thanks also to all of the K and 1 teachers who offered to have us visit-sorry we didn’t get into all of the classrooms!

8/26:  No School for Students-Teacher Professional Development

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school.
