Updates for Week of February 1, 2016
Thank you to Gayle Naone for subbing in Ms. Tanioka’s class! We welcome Ms. Tammi Umeno who will take over the class for the remainder of the school year. Unfortunately, Ms. Naone has already been taken for another long term position at another school and will not be available to sub.

Congratulations to the following classes for having the highest average points in this week’s cafeteria behavior challenge:
K: Ms. Belmonte
1: Ms. Duldulao
2: Ms. Yamamoto
3: Ms. Spencer
4/5: Ms. Eveland (4) and Ms. Stevens/Garcia (5)
Congratulations to Ms. Spencer’s 3rd grade and Ms. Stevens and Ms. Garcia’s 5th grade for having the highest averages this week with an average of 14.25 points out of 15 over last week. Great job to grade 3 overall for your noticeable improvements in the cafe last week!
This week your resource teachers will also be awarding points for your positive behaviors. We are looking to see that you follow the instructions of your resource teacher, follow behavior expectations, stay on task for the lessons provided and transition quietly from class to class. These points will be combined with your cafeteria points to determine the classes with the most positive behavior points starting this week.
Are you in 5th grade and looking for an opportunity to provide community service to the school? Wanna be a Campus Patrol Officer? Information will be coming out this week on how to apply to be a CPO and help us keep our campus safe before and after school. We are looking for responsible and reliable students!
Have a great week!
