♥️Happy Valentine's Week!♥️ We are pleased to share that Kids Heart Challenge is starting soon and we will be having kick-off assemblies on Monday, February 10, 2025 in our cafeteria: Preschool - Grade 2 Assembly will be at 8:15 - 8:45. Grades 3 - 5  Assembly will be at 8:55 - 9:25.   Look for an email from Noe with seating charts. 🥰Buy a Valentine’s Day Bracelet Gram to support Ho’okele  Fifth Graders’ End-of-Year Celebration! 🥰 Cost: $2.00 per Bracelet Gram Where:  The Bracelet Gram will be sold at the school store, located next to the office from Monday. February 10th, through Thursday, February 13th, before school from 7:15 to 7:50 a.m. and after school from 2:05 to 2:30 p.m. Grade 1 Keychains will be delivered this week! The State Social Studies Team is thrilled to invite social studies educators to an exciting journey of learning and discovery with the Spring 2025 Speaker Series, happening on select dates from February 20 to April 24, 2025. Each session runs from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, offering a perfect blend of inspiration, practical strategies, and valuable insights to elevate teaching practices. This year’s series is designed for K-12 educators who strive to spark curiosity and cultivate critical thinking in their students. You'll hear from some of the nation’s leading experts, each bringing fresh perspectives and actionable ideas to support your work in the social studies classroom. We will also have a special three-part series from the News Literacy Project (NLP). These sessions will provide tools to help both educators and students confidently navigate today’s complex media landscape, identify credible information, and combat misinformation. Whether you're looking for strategies to engage students in social studies, or interested in sharpening media literacy skills, or delving into great content and strategies for elementary educators, there's something for everyone!
