Updates for Week of April 29, 2024

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! Thank you to our super amazing faculty and staff!  It is with sincere gratitude that we express our appreciation for the ways you go above and beyond for our students at Ho‘okele.  Thank you for engaging and supporting our students in every way and for your dedication to our school’s continued growth. We appreciate every one of you! E Mahalo Kākou I Ka Mea Loa’a  (Let us be thankful for what we have)- We are thankful for you!  Mahalo! Lunch will be provided for all staff on Monday at 12:00 pm in the cafeteria.  PTA is providing many treats during the week for you to enjoy. Friday is also School Lunch Hero Day! Share your appreciations with our cafeteria staff on Friday! Kapolei High Art Exhibit Mark your calendars:  Thank you to  our Art Teacher, Ms. Zigan, for submitting 60 pieces of Ho‘okele aspiring artist’s work to be showcased in the Kapolei High Visual Arts Exhibition on May 8 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Kapolei High School.  Although only a handful from each grade level could be chosen, we hope you will come out and see the amazing pieces our Ho‘okele students have created!

Canned Food Drive April 24-May 3rd. Drop off all non-perishable canned food in the PCNC room located next to the cafeteria. All cans will be donated to the Hawaii Food Bank. 5th Grade Math Invitational Thank you to our math team coaches Ms. Evan and Ms. Garcia for coaching our math team!  They competed on Saturday at the Kapolei Middle Math Invitational.  Great work, Team!
