EL PD Credits

Here is another free PD opportunity to earn college credits that can be used for the Sheltered Instruction Qualification (SIQ) requirement. 

-Fall 2024: August 26-December 20

-Tuition is covered by the Good Jobs O‘ahu Grant

-Courses are asynchronously online

Informational Zoom sessions will be on Tuesday, April 30, and Thursday, May 2, from 3:30-4:30 pm. Registration for these info sessions is in the link and QR-code on the attached flyer.

Teachers can take the following 3 KCC SIQ credit courses (each can be taken for 3-credits) for free

-LING 102 - Intro to the Study of Language

-SLT 102 SIQ - Language Learning

-SLT 203B SIQ - Content-based Instruction

Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school.
