Happy New Week!


This Wednesday, for part of our faculty meeting, teachers will be sharing progress reports on your IPDP for the school year.  Please be prepared for a 2-3 minute sharing of your Individual Personal Development Plan results with a cross grade level group.


Please join the celebration of our military children on Monday, April 15 by wearing purple. HES recognizes the resilience and bravery of our military children and honor the sacrifices made by military families and their communities as they serve our country.


Shout out to Laura and Melissa Brown for their hard work with the Ho‘okele Dance Team.  Our Dance Team once again put on a breathtaking performance at the Mara Urbanozo Middle School Dance Competition. On Friday night,  the team received their Royal Showcase championship banner and danced on the main stage at the Blaisdell Center.


Congratulations to Noe Hansen for her participation in Na Kumu Alaka'i - Teacher Leader Academy! At last week’s learning fair and celebration, Ms. Hansen presented how she facilitates the implementation of HĀ initiatives to impact students’ “Sense of Belonging”.

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do!
