A HUGE MAHALO to the PTA for coordinating our 1st Craft Fair that took place on Saturday!  This was a huge undertaking and we are so grateful for the PTA, Faculty and Staff volunteers who helped make this event a success!  Thanks everyone for bringing all of your support, effort and talent to this event!


CONGRATS to the Ho‘okele Dance Team!  They gave an outstanding performance at the Ilima Dance Showcase on Friday Night.  We are very proud of them and very grateful to Coaches Melissa and Laura Brown for preparing them!

March is here! And here too is our weekly inspiration from what's happening in classrooms and also schoolwide updates.

Inspiration: I would like to celebrate the first ever wrap-up of data reviews from Grades K-5! In meeting with so many of you individually, it was inspiring to hear of the work you've done thus far with students and how much you believe they can continue to grow during the remaining time of the school year. Thank you for your hard work, your concerte goals, and your work with our students and families. 

Updates:

  • CARES Nominations: Due today. Please fill out the selection form for your CARES awardee after consulting the list of previous winners from the last year to avoid repeats.

  • Songfest T-Shirts: <By Thursday March 9> If there are any other staff/student teachers assigned to your grade level, please leave a comment on this document. Please also fill out the staff order form for your t-shirt by March 9.

  • SCC & STEM Coach Positions: If you are interested in the Student Services Coordinator role or one of our STEM Coach positions, please email me by Friday to discuss next steps and considerations as TATP #1 interviews start next week.

  • 10:10-10:40 K and 1

  • 10:45-11:15  2 and 3 *Cast eats as well – Laura will pull the 42 students

  • 11:20-11:50  4 and 5

  • 11:50-12:20 Clean and Prep Cafe for performances

  • 12:30 Students can start getting seated (Seating Chart for Assembly)

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do!
