Aloha Everyone!  


We have another busy week approaching!  It’s been amazing to see the looks of joy on student faces as some of them experience their first school field trips.  What fun learning adventures!  We are excitedly looking forward to the Frank DeLima assembly this week, which will also be a first for many.  Please review behavior expectations for students for assemblies and being respectful to our special guest.


We look forward to seeing our students growth on their interim SBA starting this week. Thanks for all of the planning and preparing that you do for your students!


THANK YOU to Ms. Dede and all of the teachers for your help with getting us one of the best response rates in the state for this year's Federal Impact Aid Program Survey Form collection.  We had  a 95% or higher return rate as of November 20, 2022.  We appreciate your hard work and effort.



Hi Ho‘okele Staff! 


To prepare for our RoboRayz presentation for our Bright Spot on February 15th, we would like to invite Ho‘okele staff to come watch our RoboRayz practice on Thursday, February 2nd and Thursday, February 9th in the Library. Just note that this will be practice for our presentation, so we may stop and readjust during these practice presentations. We will also have robotic kits for participants to use.


If you are interested in joining us for these practices, please sign up using the linked document.The presentations will be in the Library starting at 2:30 pm and concluding at 3:30. If you need to leave earlier, please feel free to do so!

Thank you so much for your time put into preparing for the SBA interim. The SBA interim is scheduled to start on this upcoming Tuesday, January 24th.

 

As a friendly reminder, please read through the SBA Interim to-do list that was sent in the previous email on 1/18/23 so that you are ready for next week. 


Please remember to complete Jill’s Technology Checklist by today, January 20th, so that she can best assist you and your tech needs. 


We will swing by the classrooms and small group locations after school on Monday, January 23 to double-check that the locations are secure for testing. Please make sure to follow the test security guidelines when preparing your classrooms/ testing location. 


Lastly, please make sure you have all of your student log-in cards ready to go, especially if you have any new students added to your roster.
