A HUGE MAHALO to everyone for your active participation in our Blue Line Training last week Friday.  We learned valuable skills to help keep our school community as safe as possible with the tools we have. (I think my family plans to hide the fire extinguishers from me so I don’t keep “practicing” and I’ve heard you may want to hide your scissors from a certain counselor…).  We know you may have or will have some more questions and be wondering about any changes to our current safety plans.  While that will be addressed as we process and discuss recommendations, please keep in mind that you should implement the best practices you have learned from these amazing experts in the field along with the plans we have in place.  There is a lot of emphasis on “Think, don’t overthink” and being able to consider the options that will work best in a given situation.  We hope you feel better prepared today than you did prior to this training.


Don't forget to send your i-Ready For Family Reports on Tuesday, September 6th.  Jill has 

scheduled the email to go out to all parents at 8:00am on Tuesday morning so they'll be 

aware that the students will be bringing it home that day. (Refer to email from Regina)

Teachers of Grade 4 & 5 students, your SBA Family Reports have been placed in your 

mailboxes. Please send them home on Tuesday, September 6th with your i-Ready
