Aloha Students!


Thank you for an EXCITING Quarter 1!  We have really enjoyed getting to connect and engage with you during the first quarter and look forward to continuing to grow with you as our school year progresses.


We are very proud of you and all you have accomplished in such a short amount of time.  We loved inviting your families back on campus this school year and having our CARES awards assembly.  You have learned a lot about building your classroom community through our Tribes process and SEL lessons and we love how you show that you care for yourselves, others and our school.  We hope you are enjoying your special resource day classes-Hawaiian Studies, music, art, coding, PE and SEL-which help provide you with lots of opportunities to grow and shine in many new ways.  You have been amazingly courteous and respectful students and we are happy that you are here!  Ho‘okele students are the BEST!


Check out your email for the Fall Break iReady competition!  Complete at least 45 minutes of math and 45 minutes of reading lessons from October 3rd-9th. All students that meet the minimum number of minutes for both subject areas and who pass their lessons will receive a prize.  3 students in each grade with the highest number of minutes and who passed their reading and math lessons will win a $10 gift certificate to spend at our book fair in November.  Have FUN!


Quarter 2 will be very packed with lots of learning and activities.  After the Fall Break, we will be having Picture Taking day on October 14.  Parent-Teacher Conferences start shortly after the break (10/19-28) when your parents will get to connect with your teachers to hear how great you are doing.  Student Council and PTA have many things planned as well for the month of October and the rest of Quarter 2.  Watch for more information about upcoming fundraisers, Bullying Prevention, Trunk or Treat, parent activities and MORE!!  Before you know it will be time for Winter Break!


Keep up the great work and focus on learning.  Have a fun Fall Break from October 3-7, 2022!  We will see you back in school on October 10th!

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do! In addition to celebrating our administrative professionals, this week we also gratefully acknowledge the vital contributions of our campus volunteers.
