Our CARES Assembly is Wednesday, September 28, 2022 In the Cafeteria! Gr. PK-2 at 8:15 - 9:00 am (Please be seated by 8:15 am. You may come early.) Gr. 3 -5 at 9:15 - 9:55 am (Please be seated by 9:15 am. You may come early.) See the map on this document for seating assignments. On Wednesday morning, students will be sent to class 5 minutes earlier than usual to prepare for the assemblies. Dance Team will be performing at both assemblies. Dance Team Members need to be in the cafeteria at 7:55 am. They will return to class at 8:30 am. Dance Team members may come down with your class if you are coming down early for the second assembly or please send them by 9:10 am. After each assembly, awardees will be given a light snack in front of B-Bldg. They will not be going back to class with you. They will return to your class about 10-15 minutes later. For this quarter’s CARES assembly, we are asking ALL grade levels to have indoor recess on WEDNESDAY. Several teachers from the support team are involved with aspects of the assembly and yard duty. Also some grades have recess during the assembly and others do not, SO we will assess this after this quarter and make adjustments in planning for the Quarter 2 assembly. Thank you for understanding as we work out this process. Adult supervisors will still be available to support the monitoring of students during recess blocks.
