It’s Gratitude Week!

See emails from Laureen and Laura about our Gratitude Expressions this week :)
From Laureeen: This year has taken a toll on everyone. However, there are many things to be grateful for. We wanted this week to be special with a Gratitude Week leading up to Thanksgiving. With a grateful heart, we thank you for all you do and being part of our Ho‘okele Ohana. Enjoy!
FIRE inspection is this week Wednesday at 10:00 am! HFD will wear their PPE and be mindful to honor our space during COVID. Please keep your doors unlocked so the firemen can easily peek inside without causing too much disruption for you.
IPDP: (From email 11/20/20)
For those of you who are OFF-CYCLE for EES, you will need to do an IPDP this year. While the IPDP may be of your own choice, we give you the option of doing a school-wide focus for your IPDP. This year the focus is your distance learning lesson reflections which were discussed with you earlier this year.
I am linking the template to use to document your reflections (the same questions which were already provided to you). Under the "professional development" tab-Please post your reflections on PDE3 after completion (1 1st semester, 1 2nd semester). By April 30, you will need to post 2 reflections and the reflection on part B of the template, which includes Panorama reflection (we will be sharing more in semester 2 about this). There is no MGP reflection this year.

We wish you all a very productive short work week and a VERY Happy and Safe Thanksgiving.

Updates for Students (Announcement sent by Seesaw to all students and teachers)
Aloha Students!
Thank you grade 4 and 5 students who completed your Panorama surveys to help give feedback to your teachers. Grade 3 students will take the survey this week. We really want to hear your student voice so please complete the survey honestly and openly. Your view matters to us!
During this week of Thanksgiving, we want to share how GRATEFUL we are for all of our students and your amazingly supportive families. Thank you for being the students ever! Take some time this week to share with your family and teachers how much you appreciate them. A smile, a short note or drawing or even a simple “Thank you” can go a long way to brighten someone’s day.
Please note the menu change for Wednesday.
Don’t forget to check out our On-Line Book Fair!
Have a HAPPY and SAFE Thanksgiving!
