Report Card window officially opens 3 days before break (on 10/4) and closes after PT Conferences on 11/6.  Report Cards go home at Parent Conferences for Quarter 1.


CARES Awards Assembly is this week Wednesday.  Please note there are 2 assemblies this year!  Thank you for reminding your students about appropriate assembly respect and attentive listening.  Seating charts are linked below.
Welcome Michelle Kirkpatrick, our new 4th grade teacher starting Monday! Thanks to Laura for subbing for the past few weeks! Laura will be helping Michelle transition to her new class this week.
Having difficulty contacting the office?  Utilize the main line instead of extensions to reach all phones in the office (305-8500).  The likelihood of someone picking up is much greater as all phones will ring and whomever is available can pick up.  They do not pick up phones from other staff members’ desks.  Often the staff is taking other calls or away from their desks serving customers that are in the office.  Between 7:50-8:00 especially, the office is very busy completing tardy slips.  For urgent matters when no one is responding, try texting one of the VPs for assistance or sending a child to the office with an emergency card/or note.
Cell phone use reminder-Please be mindful of your cell phone use during class time.  I know many of us use the technology to access documents or reach colleagues; however personal use of the cell phone should be limited to non-instructional time.
Teachers and EAs-please remember to turn in your weekly schedules to the office by Friday. This is very helpful when students or classes need to be located.  It also helps us determine where extra help might be available or needed.

As a heads-up for the week we return from break-we will have much to keep us busy with a CAS visit on the 16th, Speaker Showcase and Safety Week! Also, the faculty meeting on 10/18 is extended until 4:30 pm, so please plan ahead!

 Congratulations to our Quarter 1 CARES Award Winners who will be honored this week Wednesday! Can't wait to see all of our Talent this week Friday at the Talent Show! Good luck to all of the performers!
We have an exciting week to look forward to after break with Safety Week and Speaker Showcase!  Our Complex Area Superintendent, Ms. Heidi Armstrong will be paying us a visit after break as well!  So-enjoy the break and be ready to focus when we come back on 10/16!
