Updates for Week of October 30, 2017
Information for Faculty and Staff
We look forward to seeing your spirited costumes on Tuesday!
Please encourage students to leave candy at home and bring only healthy snacks to school. We know there will be a lot of candy-but need to be mindful of students with allergies and the mess students leave with their candy wrappers. Your help and support is appreciated!
Classroom teachers: please remember to keep your windows and doors clear of decorations that block vision. We want to have clear visibility at all times.

Information for Students
As a reminder: Heelys are not allowed in school. If you are wearing them you will be asked to remove the wheels, change into shoes from health room or call your parents to bring in shoes for you. It is not safe to be using these wheeled shoes in school.
Fall Costume Parade is October 31, 2017, 8:15-9:15 am!
Join us to show pride and school spirit, and to motivate students to develop positive
Relationships. We encourage all adults and students to dress up in a costume on Tuesday (Be sure to follow the costume guidelines)!
● At 8:15 am, Upper grade Partner Class will go to lower grade partner class. Upper grade students will guide the lower grade partners to the Front Gate.
● Administrators will guide students around the outer edge of campus, eventually ending at the Playcourt.
● Everyone will do the Cupid Shuffle.
● After event, upper grade students will guide lower grade partners back to class.
If you get goody bags at school, please take home for your parents to check if it is OK for you to eat the snacks. Be safe if you will be trick or treating this Halloween! We hope to see you at Harvest Night on our school campus too!
Please remember that we know you will get LOTS of candy-but please remember that candy should be left at home. We encourage you to bring in healthy snacks to school and do not bring foods that have peanuts as we have many students who can become sick if they have contact with peanuts. We absolutely do not want to see candy wrappers thrown on the ground-take care of yourself, others and our school!
Remind your parents we still have early release days all this week for continued parent-teacher conferences.
JPO Squad 1 is on duty for this week.
Have a spooooky week!
