Updates for Week of April 3, 2017

Information for Teachers
Thank you everyone for your assistance in our WASC visit with Dr. Rossi.  She had very positive feedback after her visit.  We will be receiving a report this week and will share her thoughts and insights for us as we move ahead in our WASC process.

Song Fest Information:

Send home Song Fest packets (Invitation, Early Release and Permission Form) on MONDAY, April 3rd to ALL students.  Forms will be delivered to you on Monday.
    1. Please have your students write this in their HW planner to remind them to bring it back signed by the due date.
Participation and Early Release forms are due to the homeroom teacher on April 12th
The homeroom teacher will collect all permission forms and early release forms.  
    1. The homeroom teacher will send home a 2nd copy to students that do not turn it in by April 12th.  Extra copies can be picked up in the front office.  Please do your best to make sure all student turn in a copy.  
    2. Please also help by making sure any new student receive a form as well.  Extra copies will be kept in the office.

On Friday, April 14th, please clip ALL forms together in separate stacks (green/yellow stack) and
    1. Either Xerox copy/create your own records to make sure you are aware of the students who are allowed/not allowed to participate in Song Fest.  Keep this for your reference.  
      1. Note: You do NOT need to keep records of shirt sizes.  Tara & Christine will be taking care of this.
    2. Send your separate stacks to the front office.  They will get these forms to the correct Support Staff member.

Information for Students
After school programs start this week.  You will get your attendance cards on Tuesday and will get that card to take to classes each Tuesday and Thursday.  Please attend all classes or let your teacher know if you will not be attending.  As a reminder, the behavior expectations in after school programs are the same as the expectations during the regular school day.  Follow our Tribes agreements and have fun!!
