Updates for Weeks of December 9 and 16, 2024

As we approach the final stretch before winter break (just 2 more weeks!), we want to express a huge MAHALO to all of you and for your unwavering dedication and hard work. Each of you is incredible and we appreciate your focus on creating inspiring and engaging activities for all students, in and outside of the classroom.

Appreciations:

From Ashley Shinn:

Thank you Grade 3 for organizing last week’s Parent Involvement Activity! Based on the parent survey feedback, many families enjoyed learning fractions with their child through real-world examples, engaging tasks, and SNACKS! 😋🍴

Highlights:

  • We had a 75% participation rate

  • 100% of the returned survey responses were positive (81% return rate - increase from last SY!).

Again, I wanted to extend a huge THANK YOU to the many hands that helped the activity run smoothly. Thank you to our Support Team for supporting students who didn't have family members this morning, helping to set up/clean up, and welcoming families to the event.

From Regina Yamamoto

Grade 2:

Highlights:

  • 93% participation rate!

  • 100% positive feedback from the surveys returned (67% return rate)

A special thank you to our Support Team for assisting students without family members this morning, helping with setup and cleanup, and welcoming our families to the event. Your efforts ensured everything ran smoothly.
