Appreciations: From Ashley Shinn:   Thank you Grade 5 for organizing today's Parent Involvement Activity! It was nice seeing teachers and students helping to facilitate the event and hearing all the "light bulb" moments around the cafeteria!  Highlights: We had an 81% participation rate (increased from 69% last SY)!  100% of the returned survey responses were positive (62% return rate). I also wanted to extend a huge THANK YOU to the many hands that helped today's activity run smoothly. Thank you to our Support Team for supporting students who didn't have family members this morning, helping to set up/clean up, and welcoming families to the event. Kindergarten Appreciations: Thank you so much for your support of Kindergarten’s gingerbread ornament fundraiser!  Thanks to our special “elves” who made all of the beautiful gingerbread ornaments with incredible care and attention to detail. They worked so hard before and after school to make sure each one was perfect. We love our gingerbread boys and girls, and we know they will be loved and cared for in your good hands. Thank you again for your generosity! From your friends in Kindergarten P.S. Don't eat your gingerbread ornaments! They are cute, but definitely not delicious! Appreciation for our Special Education Team: We honor our incredible special education team – our dedicated teachers, empathetic EAs, and supportive staff. Starting December 2, you will see a new face in the office!   Please welcome Shaylee Limotac as our new office clerk.   Congratulations to Krystle Myers on completion of her counseling internship!  Krystle completed her requirements last week and we are fortunate to have her still on board as a sub teacher for the remainder of the year.  Her contact number is included in the email she shared last week. Reading Workshop and Assessments Please review your emails from Regina and Ashley regarding Reading Workshop and iReady Winter assessments schedules. FYI:  VP Miyashiro will return to campus on Thursday Dec. 5.  VP Pamatigan will be off campus from Dec. 5-13th.  Please reach out to the on-campus VPs for assistance during these planned absences.  Thank you!
