ICYMI WOW Wednesday #5 from Principal Toy (2/22/2023) Here is our weekly inspiration from what's happening in classrooms and also schoolwide updates. Inspiration : Over 20 Kapolei High School students came to campus today to share about their different Academies, which align to college and career readiness. Our students in Grades K-2 learned from their experiences and activities as part of a revamped Career Day! Activities included examining a CPR Dummy (Health Academy), seeing a robot demonstration (Engineering Academy), doing a gallery walk of artwork (Arts & Communication Academy) and trying on a firefighting jacket (Law and Public Safety Academy). Time is flying by us for this quarter!  It is hard to believe we are almost at the end of Q3!   TATP #1 is now open. Posting of eligible positions are available by the sign-in binders at the front office. If you have not already, please let administration know if you intend to apply to any position. *As a reminder, teachers in their last semester of probation are unassigned for their job for SY 23-24 and must reapply to their position; or any other available position that is posted. ICYMI WOW Wednesday #4 from Principal Toy (2/15/2023) Inspiration :  1) A visit to Ms. Cabudol's classroom featured math stations complete with student leadership roles and purposeful groupings so each level could get individualized feedback on their formative data -- it was an inspiring, student centered set-up!  2) At the end of last week, I was in the 3rd grade wing and I passed a student in the hallway. I wished her a happy Friday and asked her if she was excited for the weekend....
