Updates for Week of May 23, 2022
MAHALO to everyone for every ounce of hard work that you have contributed to our success this school year! Enjoy this last week and have a well-deserved, relaxing break this summer! Please stop by the cafeteria to pick up breakfast on Friday morning (starting at 8:00 am) as a small token of our appreciation for being amazing.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR END OF YEAR CLOSING ACTIVITIES
Technology Inventory: Teachers do their own tech inventory. Fill out your room number tab. Fill in any cells that are highlighted yellow.
EA’s and Teachers Leaving: Return your tech equipment (teacher laptop, dongles, charger, iPad, charger, stylus) to the Library Tech Office (connected to the Video Production/Green Screen room). Label your equipment with your name.
Students Leaving: Label iPad “EXITED”. Return the iPads to the library on Wednesday, May 25th (before the end of day)
Grade 5 iPads: Have students drop iPads off in the library (outside Jill’s office). Place in stacks. Keep together as a class.
Instructional Resource Inventory: Angie will email the Inventory Sheets on Wednesday 5/18. Due by 5/27.

Virtual Meet and Greet for SY 22-23
-We will have a virtual Meet and Greet again for SY 22-23. Instructions for teachers linked here.
-All Virtual Meet and Greet email will be sent to parents by Friday, July 29th (4pm)
COVID TESTING: We will continue to provide weekly testing during the summer for the staff; only on Mondays 7:00-8:00 am. If Monday falls on a holiday, then it will be on Tuesday.
Updates for Students
Dear Students,
It is with much gratitude that I share our appreciation to all of the students of Ho‘okele for helping us to have such an amazing school year. We have been through so many ups and downs and twists and turns, and yet you have stuck with us through it all. At the start of the school year, no one knew what would happen as we moved back into full in-person learning. Here we are at the end and can honestly say that you all have exceeded our expectations. You have shown much academic and social growth and we know you will continue to thrive. You have proven yourselves to be strong, resilient and successful. We look forward to your continued growth next school year.
Farewell to our 5th grade students and students who will be moving over the summer! We wish you the best as you continue on to your new schools next year. We hope you will carry with you the skills you have learned from Ho‘okele to help you CONNECT, ENGAGE, INSPIRE, SERVE AND SUCCEED. We will always care about each and every one of you!
Please thank your parents for all of their patience and support to help us keep our school open and safe. It took everyone working together and WE DID IT!
