Faculty and Staff Updates

ALOHA,

 

THANK YOU to all of the faculty and staff for helping us spread information and teach students our new after school pick up routines.  Everything seems to be flowing much more smoothly and we appreciate your support!

 

This week we will be reviewing and making any necessary changes to our updated bell schedule.  This schedule will start on Monday 9/20.  Please see your email from 9/3/2021.  We will also discuss this at the HGL meeting on Monday.

 

Our new kindergarten teacher, Ms. Michell Sanchez will start on Monday 9/13.  She will be taking over for Ms. Nakama in F101.  We appreciate Ms. Nakama and look forward to her continuing to support our teachers in her upcoming sub position, also in grade K.

 

Ms. Kelsi Finley is our long term sub for FSC.  Ms. Marilyn Valencia is our long term sub for grade 3.  Interviews for these positions are being held over the next couple of weeks.  We appreciate having such wonderful subs to help us through the transitions!

 

PE for grades 1, K and 5 this week.  Remind students to wear shoes and bring water!  Teachers, please bring students to the courts at your scheduled times.

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do!
