Updates for Week of April 19, 2021
Aloha!
YOU DID IT! Our Ho‘okele Faculty and Staff are all capable of AMAZING things and we are so grateful for all of your assistance last week as our students returned to daily in person learning. Overall, things went smoothly, thanks to your support, dedication, perseverance, flexibility, patience, feedback and positivity. We are incredibly grateful for everyone doing their part and helping us survive the week! 6 more weeks to go!
Please review the information in the student reminder below which will be shared via Seesaw with students. We are also sending a notification about traffic this week to hopefully ease some of the concerns with our increased congestion around drop off and pick up times.

THANK YOU to you and your families for helping us achieve a successful first week back for our in-person learners. It is great to see you and we REALLY appreciate how well you are following our safety guidelines by wearing masks and social distancing. We appreciate the adjustments everyone is making, including our distance learners.
We would like to remind you that we have staggered start times for all students to help ensure we have enough space to monitor you safely. Please do not come more than 5 minutes before your grade level’s scheduled start time. Coming at your scheduled time will also help with the traffic around the school making it safer for our drivers, bike riders and pedestrians. If your parents have to drop off students at multiple gates and times, we suggest using the parking lot, or dropping at the south gate first when possible. We will do our best to help out those families with siblings in different grade levels. Tell your parents they can speak with a VP about options we may have for our larger families.
Bus Riders-please go to your bus stop 10 minutes before your scheduled boarding time. The bus may come earlier than anticipated and we do not want you to miss the bus!
Wear PURPLE on Wednesday to support our military families!
We have 6 more weeks of school and LOTS to look forward to including Songfest, SBA testing, Spirit Week and SOOO much more work and fun...Stay healthy and safe so that we can continue to enjoy being in school and on-line safely together.
Enjoy the week!
