Updates for Week of January 18, 2021
VACCINE INFORMATION: Did you register?? Per last week’s email, to help expedite the administration process, HIDOE employees wanting access to the vaccine should fill out the brief survey below by January 15. If you did not fill out the survey by last week Friday, you can still submit it and your name will be turned in to DOH on a rolling basis.

Tammi sent out a school survey as well for everyone to indicate if you do or do not want the vaccine. Be sure to complete the DOE survey above if you WANT the vaccine. We will keep you updated as we get new information on the vaccination dates, locations and process.
Adult meals are now available to purchase for lunch. You must have money in your account ($5.50) to purchase. Please notify the front office in the morning by 8:30 am if you wish to purchase so the cafe can be notified to prepare the meal.
Don’t forget for teachers doing Semester 2 SSPs, your approval date is February 5th. Be sure to schedule time with your admin in advance of that date to make sure you have everything needed for approval by the deadline.
Data is still being reviewed for any decisions on our school learning model. We will keep you updated. At this time, there is no update as we continue to review all relevant information and make plans to keep everyone safe. Stay diligent in following guidelines and stay healthy!
We are looking for a staff member, teacher or EA, who would be interested in being an advisor for Anchored 4 Life for the remainder of this year and for next school year. Please see Mindy for more information. A virtual training will be held on 2/11/2021.

Reminder: No School on Monday, January 18, 2021 due to the holiday celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
LAST CHANCE for YEARBOOK PHOTOS! January 26, 27, and 28 will be the LAST OPPORTUNITY you can reserve an appointment at the Pearlridge Studio to be photographed for the Ho‘okele yearbook. If you have NOT taken a photo this year, please do this so your child can be photographed. We have about 500 students who have taken photos, don’t miss this last chance! A flyer will be emailed to your parents with more details on scheduling an appointment.
Don’t forget to do your resource class assignments on Seesaw! This week there are no resource classes due to the Monday Holiday. However, check to be sure you completed your assignments from last week if you did not have a chance to do so yet.
