Information for Faculty and Staff
Welcome to Tia Marquez, our VP for upper grades for the next 3 weeks while Ms. Toy is at Ilima Intermediate. You can reach Tia via DOE email for now and her Ho‘okele account should be available this week.
We have made it to the end of 3rd quarter! And what an exciting quarter it has been!  
Congratulations to Mrs. Brown and daughter Melissa for another successful musical run!  The Seussical was truly amazing. We enjoyed hearing the comments from the audience, especially those who are at Ho‘okele for their first year.  It is truly a remarkable production that requires much time, dedication and hidden talents of so many staff members (make-up, hair, costumes, set, choreography, lighting, sounds, set up, clean up…).  With staff like this-ANYTHING is POSSIBLE!
Be sure to ask Jessica Mattes, Jamie Reyes and Regina Yamamoto about their experiences at ECET2CK this past weekend.  They were able to participate in this celebration of teachers and learn from other amazing educators. I’m sure they have much learning to share from the breakout sessions and the overall experience.

Janelle will be emailing teachers shortly with the Vision Screening schedule.  Screening will be Thursday in D106.

We offer Deb Eveland a warm welcome back! Deb’s sabbatical was unfortunately postponed due to travel advisories. We are happy to have her on campus again!

If you will be traveling, please stay current on travel guidance and advisories from DOH and DOE.  We will be sure to communicate information as soon as we are notified of any updates. Stay healthy and safe!

Ms. Toy will be working at Ilima Intermediate for the next few weeks.  Wish her luck! Your VP for grades 3-5 will be Ms. Marquez while Ms. Toy is away.

Thank you and congratulations to the cast and crew of the Seussical Musical!  Your families, classmates and teachers were all very impressed with your talented performances.  Great job-your hard work paid off! Everyone was very impressed by the stellar performances for all 5 shows!

Congratulations to our CARES winners who will be recognized this week Wednesday at our assembly. The CARES winners represent our school's vision and mission to Connect, Engage, Inspire, Serve and Succeed.

Finish up strong this week with hard work on your academics and behavior!  Congratulations on finishing up 3 quarters of the year-You are 75% through.  ENJOY THE WEEK and have a wonderful Spring Break. We will see you back in school on March 23-25 for a short week right after spring break.

If you travel during break, stay healthy.  Wash your hands often, cover your mouth when you cough and if you don’t feel well, be sure to tell your parents!  Be safe and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school.
