Information for Faculty and Staff
Thank you Mrs. Brown and Ms. Cuajunco for preparing the kids to present at UHWO to visitors from South Korea.  Also, thank you for those teachers who have agreed to host students in your classrooms this Friday (See email from Laura regarding the schedules for the day).  What an exciting way to showcase our school to these visiting students and their families! They learned about our school last week during our presentations and I know they are excited to see everything we told them about!

Please note the schedule changes if for all resource schedules for the next 2 weeks (even if there is not testing on your resource day.  Welcome our new PE teachers, Ms. Yoko Liriano and Ms. Sharlene Paulino.

Please contact Ms. Toy for questions on the Kapilina tutoring on Wednesdays and Mrs. Pamatigan for questions on the homework clubs.  More information will be coming to those impacted early this week.

Information for Students


Thank you to Addy, Kainoa, Fiona and Aniyah for presenting to the South Korean students and families last week.  The same families will be visiting our campus this week Friday. Please show them our Aloha as you welcome them into your classrooms and show them what a typical school day is like at Ho‘okele.  

Grades 3-5 will be taking your interim SBA math test this week.  Please do your best to help us learn how well you are doing and what help you still may need.  Get a lot of rest, eat a healthy breakfast and show off how smart you are! Good Luck!

This Wednesday marks Administrative Professionals Day, and we want to take a moment to sincerely recognize and thank our exceptional office staff. Their dedication and support extend far beyond the expected, touching every corner of our school. From cheerfully greeting families – both the friendly and the more challenging – to ensuring the smooth execution of every event, our office team is truly the backbone of our school. They arrive early, stay late, manage our supplies, process our paychecks and scan our lunches, and, above all, always help to ensure the well-being of our students. Thank you for all that you do!
