Updates for Week of November 11, 2019

Information for Teachers and Staff
If you are in need of help for requesting assistance or intervention strategies for any students, support will be available for teachers this Friday 11/15 after school (2:30 pm)  in the office conference room. This time will be available to assist teachers with questions and help when going through the process of requesting support for your students. See Natalie or Elizabeth for more information.

We would like to introduce our new MFLAC counselor who is located in PCNC room.  Ms. Jennifer Hastings will provide services for military families as a Military Family Life Counselor.   She will have access to a Ho‘okele email address if you would like to reach out to her for assistance with military students..
This Friday, Frank Delima will be coming for his first EVER visit to Ho‘okele.  Please remind your students about appropriate assembly behavior. Seating is linked-same as for CARES assembly student seating.
Long weekends mean short work weeks!
Make the most of it and enjoy!

Information for Students
Student Council is sponsoring a Canned Food Drive.  Please drop off non-perishable canned food NEXT WEEK from  November 18-22nd.  Collection boxes will be located in the cafeteria stage. All canned goods will be donated to the Hawaii Food Bank.  Start gathering now to bring in those food items next week!
This Friday we are having Mr. Frank Delima visit Ho‘okele for an exciting assembly!  This will be Mr. Delima’s very first time visiting Ho‘okele, so we expect you to be on your best behavior to showcase how amazing and respectful our students can be.  We know you will make us proud! Below are some reminders for Assembly Behavior:
The Book Fair is coming to Ho‘okele this week and next week!  What fun it is to read a book! Buy books to help support our school and your teachers!
Make up Picture Day is Thursday.  If you are doing retakes, you can wear clothes other than your uniform that meet our dress code.  All other students must wear a uniform.
Have a fantastic week!
