Information for Faculty and Staff

IMPORTANT:  ALL Employees need to follow instructions provided to you on auto-pay starting Dec. 3-14.  If you did not get the instructions, please see Dollinda ASAP.

The 1st graders are doing a Project Based Learning Unit to help them understand the importance of reading and how we apply reading in our everyday life. The 1st graders discovered there's a need to provide more books in all PK-5 classrooms at our school. We are hosting a Book Drive to collect NEW or GENTLY USED books that will be distributed to the K-5 classrooms at Ho‘okele Elementary School!
If you would like to donate, please drop them off:

Welcome to Ms. Deylynn White our new EA who will be working with Special Education starting Monday!

We also would like to announce that Ms. Lene Bernardo, our school health aide, will be leaving us for a new position!  Her last day will be 12/21. We will miss you Ms. Lene and appreciate your years of service to Ho‘okele since our school opening!

The fifth grade has learned about the scientific method this quarter. Students have conducted a science experiment at home and are ready to show what they have learned! The projects will be displayed in the fifth grade hub. Please sign up on the google doc emailed by Melissa Stockwell. We hope to see you there!

Thank you Mr. Yamamoto and our volunteer coaches for coaching the Basketball Team!  Good Luck this Friday!

Thank you to Mrs. Tanigawa for coordinating the VEX Tournament which will be held this week Saturday at our school.  We appreciate all of the time spent to provide this opportunity. Thank you to all of the volunteers who are also helping out!

Come Visit the Book Fair!  Last day is December 5!
Be responsible with any money you bring to school.

NEW or GENTLY USED books will be collected and will be distributed to the K-5 classrooms at Ho‘okele Elementary School!  Donate your old favorites THIS week!

Good Luck to our students who will be participating in the Basketball tournament on Friday and the Robotics Team tournament this Saturday!  
Please be sure to say Thank you to your Coaches and the volunteers who are helping you get ready!
