Flame - Free vector graphics on PixabayA pre fire inspection will be conducted by Erin Crowell on Monday afternoon.  She will be coming and checking all classrooms and offices to make sure we are in compliance for the fire inspection.  Feedback and corrections will be provided after the inspection.  Once you have made corrections, please stay in compliance so that we can have a successful fire inspection and a safe learning environment.  Official fire inspection will likely be in November and we will do another walkthrough prior to the actual inspection.
Also, we are planning a fire drill for Friday very early in the morning, between 8:00-8:10 am.  Please be prepared for this announced drill and notify your subs to expect the alarm.
This is the week where parking will be very tight.  We are having training attendees park in the back grassy area of our playfield.  If you are unable to find a stall to park, you may also park in that grassy area.  You may want to plan on coming early next week if possible to minimize your parking stress!
Picture Day is this Wednesday!  Students do not need to wear uniforms but should be dressed appropriately for school.  For teachers who are at trainings, please try to come before school or at 12:30 for your pictures.  The class pictures are composite shots, so you do not need to go at same time as your class.  Picture Day schedule is linked here.  (Please note the schedule is very tight...make sure you are listed and let Mindy and Janelle know of conflicts). Locations are in cafe on stage and in PCNC room; refer to schedule for your location.  We will have INDOOR recess on Wednesday to allow for the picture taking to be continuous.
ELL Services will begin Tuesday 9/19.  Students will be serviced by Carrlyn Emoto in D105.  Please see Carrolyn’s email for those who have ELL students.
To help be sure that all tardies are correctly marked on Infinite Campus, if any child comes to your class tardy WITHOUT a tardy slip, please send them back to the office to get one.  The office keeps a list and makes the changes for those who come through the office.  If your student does not have a slip and comes in tardy and you do not send them to the office, you will need to change their attendance mark.  However, all tardy students should be coming in to the office to get the tardy slip (after 7:50).
CARES submissions are due Wednesday.  Please see email from Laura Brown with instructions and submission form (dated 9/13).
Anyone have extra tennis balls lying around?  Please donate them to Mindy for recess.  Thanks!

Information for Students
Picture day is this week Wednesday!  You do not need to wear a uniform, but your clothes must still meet dress code and be appropriate for school.  Don’t forget your order forms!

As a reminder, except for Wednesday for this week, it is back to your school uniforms every day!
We will have many visitors on campus this week for trainings and you will have a lot of sub teachers.  Please be the best representative of our school that you can be.
CARES awards are coming soon!  Have you shown your ability to Connect, Engage, Inspire, Serve and Succeed?  We can’t wait to see who the deserving students are for the first quarter!
