Here is your end of year check out information:  Instructions for Teachers.  Please let us know what questions you have as we prepare for summer!


Please be sure to turn in your order for lunch for our end of year celebration by Wednesday. See email from Jill from May 10 for link to menu and order form.  Mahalo to our grade 1 teachers, Jill and Aloha Club sponsors for planning this event!

Thank you to the following individuals that helped wrap hot dogs, bag popcorn and prep for the PTA Movie Night: Natalie Hepting, Kristen Maehara, Rena Sah, Decy Belmonte, Joanne Barilla, Joy Arakaki-Tsutsui, Jennifer Duldulao, Stefanie White, Marisa Takeguchi, Deborah Eveland, Crystal Alejandro, Tara Bagoyo & Jared Yamamoto.  Thank you to Michael Bio, Jill Higa, Janelle Cuajunco, Liane Tanigawa, Laura Brown, Crystal Alejandro, Elizabeth Okamoto, Laureen Dunn, Melinda Pamatigan & Cynthia Reyes for staying for the showings to help with the Bake Sale, cleaning up and overseeing the movie in the cafeteria.  You are all greatly appreciated!!!


YARD DUTY:  A BIG MAHALO to the PTTs, EAs, Support Team, Jan T, Lyle and adult supervisors who have volunteered to do yard duty for the next 2 weeks to help out our classroom teachers.  Here is the revised yard duty schedule for the last 2 weeks of school. Teachers are of course welcome to come out for any recesses this week, but feel free to take a break-you deserve it!! We are planning to add several activities to keep the kids busy, active and out of trouble!! If you have a sub, please ask your sub to go out to recess duty according to your regular schedule.  The more the merrier!


Thanks to those helping kindergarten and grade 1 this week Monday and Tuesday with testing.  Attached is the coverage schedule


Again, with so many events and activities, please review calendar and let Mindy know if anything is missing or needs to be changed.

Information for Students
Congratulations to our grades 3-5 students for their hard work on SBA for the past 2 weeks!  We are seeing some great results of your scores and can’t wait for the final outcome.  Good luck to grade 4 students on your final attempt at the science HSA this week!  We know you can do it!!


Congrats to our Quarter 4 CARES award winners-see you and your families at the assembly on Friday!


For grade 5 students, we are very proud of you and hope you have a great time at your banquet this week.  Please remember that our expectations for your behavior are the same for when you go out to the MIddle School and to Dave & Busters this week.  We hope to hear only great things about your behavior and how you represent our school.


We have some special activities planned for recess in the next few weeks.  Please remember that our recess rules still apply:


  • No chase or tag games
  • Footballs-throwing and catching only (no tackling or touch football games)
  • Soccer-shooting on goals (no goalies)
  • Kickball-play fair and no arguing!!
  • Basketball-shooting games only
