Information for Faculty
Thanks again to Lyle and staff for the delicious breakfast on Friday!  
We hope you all enjoyed your vacation and were able to ease back into things with your work day!  I’m sure the kids are excited to see you and tell you all about their vacations!

There is no RTI or PLCs this week, however, there are resources starting again on Tuesday.  Teachers will follow students to resource classes this week.  

In preparation for interim SBA testing, Testwiseness for grades 3, 4 and 5 only will take place this week.  On your resource day, your testwiseness will end in time to start resource classes at the regular time.   All other days, testwiseness will be from 8:15-10:00.  Please do not disrupt the upper grade classes during that time to help prepare them for an ideal testing environment.  We are currently working out the details for the resource day schedule on interim testing days and for the actual testing days in May.  That will be shared with you shortly. Earthquake Feedback:  I received some feedback regarding our earthquake drill from the complex area.  I had noted that some adults were standing in doorways.  Please follow the Drop, Cover and Hold Procedures.  Doorways are not considered a safe place during earthquakes.  
Welcome to Kaydi Hashima, our new PTT who will be working with grade 4.

Welcome back to Heather Faustin, who will be our SBBH provider starting semester 2.  Heather returns to us after being at Kapolei High School.  Her schedule is as follows:  
Tuesday: 9:30 am until the end of the day
Wednesday: The beginning of the school day until noon
On other days, with at least one day notice, Heather can be available for consultation with school counselors, teachers, and/or admin by appointment.

Information for Students
Welcome back!!!  We are so excited to have you back in school!  We have so many things to do, so don’t waste any time getting back into the swing of things!

We have many new students who enrolled over the break.  Please help to welcome all new students to our Ho’okele family by showing them around and teaching them about how we do things at our school!
