Updates for Week of January 11, 2016

This week Tuesday, we will have many visitors on our campus.  Please use the back parking lots as much as possible to leave room for the Principals and their teams meeting in the cafeteria, as well as for our school food services reviewers. In preparation for Tuesday’s federal review of our school food services programs, please make sure all students have their IDs for lunch.  As always, adults will not be served lunch if they have insufficient funds in their accounts.  It will be helpful if you make sure that students arrive to lunch on time and please remind them about appropriate behavior in the cafeteria.  We know all staff involved have done a great job in establishing procedures in line with the expectations of school food services. I would also like to remind teachers of our wellness guidelines and will be sending reminders to parents about school celebrations for birthdays. This information is on our website and in the parent handbook.   Any it...

As we will not have PTTs on campus this week/No PLCs, here is Yard Duty for January 6-8.    Regular yard duty will resume next week.  Please take some time to review with your students the behavior expectations for your classroom, recess and cafeteria. The days right after a break are a great time to refresh and revive your expectations.  We will be starting some new incentives for their positive behavior this month.   Your building locks for D, E and F have been changed and you will need a new key for your building from the front office.  This is an additional key-your room key will still be needed for classrooms.   Because your new key will only open your building, we are moving the xerox machine from downstairs E building to downstairs D buildin...
