Updates for Week of 10/5/2015

Hi Everyone,

Have a great fall break!  Have fun!
We hope you have a wonderful and restful fall break!  If you are planning to come to campus to work during school hours form 10/5-10/9, please check in the office BEFORE going to your classrooms to see if your building has been disarmed and notify custodians that you will be here. Mike is not planning on disarming the whole campus every day.  Custodians will be ending their days at 4:30 pm.  Anyone staying later than 4:15 p.m. must secure and set alarm in building.

If you come after regular school hours, you will need to disarm and re-alarm your buildings as you normally would during those times.

They will be installing interior window shades for classrooms during this fall break.  Erin our ASA will also be starting to do pre fire inspections in the classrooms.  Please see these fire safety reminders and adhere to the guidelines at all times.  If you have any questions, let me know.

Custodians will be doing general cleaning in classrooms during this break. Any food/trash items must be bagged and disposed of in provided trash bin, located in front of office door. On Monday 10/12/15 we will resume to regular closing hours at 6:00 p.m.

You do not need to do anything special with your tech equipment over the break.  It is OK to unplug your carts, but not necessary.

Please check for email updates and blog updates regarding PLCs upon return from break.  Due to some anticipated changes, we may need to revert back to NOT having PLCs the first week and having you follow students to resources. Upper grades may have limited resources.  I will keep you posted on this and some other items and let you know hopefully by today or sometime next week.
