Update Mid-Week June 23

We have hired a TA Cafe Manager.  Please welcome Denise Huth.  She has officially begun working out of our front office until the cafe is turned over.   Please welcome her to our Ho‘okele Ohana.  

 Bell Schedule has been updated.


Here is an updated copy of the Ho‘okele Teaching Lines for SY 15-16.  Teachers that have been moved to a different grade levels have been notified.  Please welcome the new teachers to your grade level.   
June 29 is the projected turnover date for the Lawai‘a building and cafeteria.  You may plan to move in on June 29.  If your spouse/friend is helping you move in, they do NOT have to be trained by Kiewit or wear the PPE IF everyone travels the path through buildings starting with Mahi‘ai walking through Mea‘ohi directly into Lawai‘a.  Only adults may assist.


As a reminder, please take a look at Google Classroom Assignment #20-Classroom Teachers & Support Staff-Classroom Map- Please do this assignment by June 28th.  All information will be turned in to the contractors who are installing phones.  If we don’t receive your information, you’ll be stuck with a phone place in a default location. You will NOT be able to move your phone once placed.  
On Aug. 12th we have an extended workday from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.  We’re using part of our 21 hours for an iReady training.

We will be having a Grand Opening/BOE Meeting on Tuesday, July 21st at our Ho‘okele campus. I have very little info right now but it'll be like a mini event with: BOE meetings, sub committee meetings, a blessing, a tour, possibly entertainment and maybe more. More info coming after July 1st.  

 We will also have a Dedication Ceremony on Friday, November 6th (morning-mid morning). This event will be larger and require more participation/assistance from everyone. The Governor, Superintendent etc will be present, possible student performances etc.


Just a reminder, Classroom websites must be up by the 1st day of school.  When you are ready for your site to be linked to our school website, please email me.
