Just a reminder, starting Monday, May 19th we have scheduled Song Fest practices in the cafe. Please take a look at the schedule to see when your grade level will come to practice.

Grades K-1 and 4-5 I'll be there to setup and run audio.  You guys can just tell me what you want to practice (grade level song, whole school song etc).

Grade 3 I'm out on Friday, but I believe we already discussed this.

From Katie & Ashley S.

We are OFFICIALLY done with SBA Testing!! 🎉👏 Thank you to all of our Test Administrators, Proctors, Support Team, and Office Staff who helped make this year's testing a smooth one. We appreciate you!

Here are some final reminders as we wrap up this testing season:

Teachers/ Test Administrators: Please return your SBA Envelopes to Ashley's office or box. You can shred everything in the envelope except for your "Testing Signs."

Raffle: Please be sure to show the broadcast to your students next week so they can see if they are an SBA Raffle Winner!

If you haven’t already please pass out your SBA treats to the students (Rice Krispie Treats, Ice-Pops)!

Thank you again for all your hard work!

Morning Broadcast:  Check out this week’s broadcast to learn more about Aloha-Hoʻolauleʻa from Ms. Umeno and Ms. Brown’s 4th grade class!

THANK YOU MS.  DONNA!

This past Sunday was Speech Pathologist Appreciation Day.  I’d like to share an appreciation for Mrs. Donna Okubo.  Ms. Donna has been our Speech Pathologist for the past several years and works with our special needs students, consults with our teams and has been an incredible resource for us at Ho‘okele.  The majority of our referrals for preK students are due to communication concerns and we rely on Ms. Donna for her expertise and guidance to help us navigate through the MANY cases and determine the best way to support students.  I have sat in countless meetings with Ms. Donna and I have no idea how she carves out time in her schedule to sit in so many SFT, eligibility, IEP meetings and services students at our school and 2 other schools!

She is a Speech SuperHero!

Thank you Ms. Donna!

Do YOU have an APPRECIATION, APOLOGY, AHA or Additional stuff that you would like shared in this blog?  Please contact VP Melinda Pamatigan should you wish to contribute, clarify or correct any information that is shared.  Posts are done on Sunday mornings, so let me know of information you would like to include by Saturday evening.  Corrections will be made to a posted blog as soon as I receive your notification.  THANK YOU!
