Reminders: We will hold our monthly Fire Drill on Monday 11/25 at 8:15 am.  Please inform your sub teachers. KHS education pathway students will be coming on 12/6. Picture retakes are on Tuesday, November 26! The school and office will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 28 AND Friday, November 29, 2024. Reading Workshop (From Ashley S and Regina) Please check your emails from our coaches regarding Reading Workshop and assessment schedules and OG training (if applicable to you).  Reading Workshop will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Fire Inspection (From Michael Bio) Below you will find a link to our Pre Fire inspection that was done on 11/15/24 below. We have grouped them by buildings. Find your building and scroll to your Room #. Only photos taken are violations that need to be corrected before our Inspection. Fire Inspection Date: TBD. Three days before the fire inspection, custodians will assist you in any corrections that need to be made. A Day before inspection I will be conducting a final walk through to address any new violations.  Fire inspection checklist is provided below. Please review and look to see that there are no new violations in your room. If you have any questions please let me know.  PreFire Inspection Results Pre Fire Checklist Alarms (from Michael Bio) Please do not set alarms in your buildings before 6pm daily, unless advised otherwise. Custodians are advised to lock and secure buildings at the end of day. Any teachers that are staying later than 5:50pm will be asked to set the alarm.  An alarm in a building was set off @ 5:10 pm on 11/20. HPD was dispatched. Once again please do not set the alarm in your building unless advised otherwise. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.

November 25-27, 2024 Gratitude Cards:  Keep the Gratitude coming!  We will continue to distribute your cards for you.  You may also distribute cards on your own if you prefer. -Student Council

Appreciations: From Admin:  Thank you to the following staff members who volunteered on Friday and/or Saturday evening for the Night Market parking on campus.  The proceeds from the event parking fees will be shared among their clubs/groups.  It was a long event, but overall successful and we will likely be providing more opportunities for this in the future if you are interested in raising money for your club or grade level. Mahalo to Mike, Ericson, Walter, Cindy, Michell, Candice, Kristen L (and Grace and Elijah) Emma (and Abraham), Sarah, Laura, Kilo, Cam, Elizabeth (and Kyler) and Marissa C.  It was great to be out there and we appreciate you (and your families) supporting the event!   Do YOU have an APPRECIATION, APOLOGY, AHA or Additional stuff that you would like shared in this blog?  Please contact VP Melinda Pamatigan should you wish to contribute, clarify or correct any information that is shared.  Posts are done on Sunday mornings, so let me know of information you would like to include by Saturday evening.  Corrections will be made to a posted blog as soon as I receive your notification.  THANK YOU!
