Kapolei High Art Exhibit Don’t forget!  Kapolei High Visual Arts Exhibition on May 8 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Kapolei High School.  Thank you Ms. Zigan for coordinating our students’ participation in this event! Congratulations to our Ho‘okele Dance Team and Hihimanu Dance Squad for their performance at the Kapolei High May Day!  A fantastic debut for our Dance Squad and an incredible collaboration watching the teams perform on stage together!  Thank you, Coaches Laura Brown, Melissa Brown, Ron Baraoidan and Megan Togami! SBA and HSA Science Testing Schedule SY 23-24 - SBA_HSA Summative Schedule 2024 (2).pdf IMPORTANT REMINDERS:  WHAT: SBA & NGSS SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENTS WHO: Grade 3-5 Students WHEN: Tuesday, May 7- Tuesday, May 21 *Schedule Attached* WHERE: Testing will take place in all Grade 3-5 grade level classrooms, but also in other rooms across campus including: B102 (STEM room), F206 (Makerspace), D206, Tech Room, and sometimes the Cafeteria! Please avoid walking or making loud noises through these hallways during testing to help minimize distractions for our test takers RECESS/ NOTIFICATIONS:  Recess times will stay the same! Testing time blocks:  Grade 3- 8:15- 9:20 (Recess 9:25- 9:40) Grade 4- 8:15- 9:35 (Recess 9:40- 9:55) Grade 5- 8:15- 9:50 (Recess 9:55- 10:10) All bells and phone calls will be held during testing hours to limit distractions. RESOURCE SCHEDULE:  Grade 5 Resource Classes have been moved from Tuesday, May 7 to Monday, May 6 due to the Testing Schedule.  Grade 2 Resources on Thursday, May 9, and Grade 1 Resources on Friday, May 10 remain as scheduled.  TARDY STUDENTS:  Please encourage all students to come to school on time (before 7:45am!)  Students in Grades 3-5 that arrive after 8:15 AM will be asked to remain in the Grade Level Hubs during the testing window.  Front Office Staff: please message Ashley Shinn & Katie Yamamoto that Tardy students are being sent up so we can accommodate them during this time.  Thank you everyone for helping support our students as they complete their end of the year assessments!  Katie & Ashley Check out Regina's email on 5/5/2024 for updates and reminders about the iReady diagnostic testing for Grades K-2.
