Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation Good Idea Grants 2024-2025

The Good Idea Grant Program is designed to enhance innovation in the classroom. Mini grants of up to $3,000 per teacher or team of teachers will be awarded by the start of the next school year. Teachers who will be working with students in a Department public school during the 2024-2025 school year are eligible applicants. Qualified first-time applicants are also given priority consideration.

Detailed instructions, selection criteria, and application forms can be found at the PSHF website at https://pshf.org/good-idea-grants/. To submit an online application, click on the “Apply Now” link to start the process. Deadline to submit a proposal is June 3, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (HST). All Good Idea Grant applicants and their respective principals will be notified by July 15, 2024, if a Good Idea Grant application has been approved, and checks for approved amounts will be mailed directly to teachers.

If you are interested, please speak with an administrator.

HPU HPU Economics for Hawaiʻi Teachers

Furthermore, all teachers on this course will receive a 100% scholarship from HPU.

See the provided link for further details and enrollment instructions.

Economic Education Center For Excellence at Chaminade University prepares K-12 teachers to teach economics and personal finance at their grade levels. It also offers full scholarships for DOE teachers and provides ready-to-adopt lesson plans. You can find more information about the program and annual reports on the EECE website.  Current funding allows support of up to 30 teachers for this summer’s program.
