  Thank you for being such gracious hosts for our CK complex area guests last week.  The Principals and DOE staff were very impressed by our facilities, staff and students.  Sally, Mike and Cindy really added the extra special touches with the lunch, personalized sticky note pads, and floral arrangement.  They were greeted with a lei by our amazing student council and truly seemed to appreciate all that our school has to offer.  We were so happy to share our CARES vision and mission as the basis of our school design and our visits truly reinforced the information we shared.  Thanks for preparing your classrooms and students for this event and thanks to all of the staff that kept things flowing while the support team was engaged with our guests.  Now, we just wait for the next opportunity to share all of this with our Superintendent!   THANK YOU! ARE YOU READY?  The answer is YES!  Of course!  During the first couple of weeks, we have seen AMAZING things in your classrooms and around campus.  With our very special guests coming this Friday, we know they will be greatly impressed with how much is being accomplished already for this school year. Please prepare your students for this visit by letting them know that Superintendent Hayashi, Complex Area Superintendent Tajima, our Complex Area Principals and our Ho‘okele Support Team will be meeting and touring the campus on Friday.  The estimated time is between 10:00-11:30 am.  We look forward to showcasing our school, faculty, staff and students during this special visit. Congratulations on being the MOST AMAZING FACULTY and STAFF on this planet!  We are incredibly grateful for your planning and solid implementation of literally EVERYTHING for the first week of school.  Thank you so much for teaching routines and expectations to your students -it was a great start thanks to your dedication, teamwork and overall awesomeness.   Take a few moments to jot down something positive that had a big impact on your week.
