Information for Faculty and Staff From Jared:  We are off to a great start with the Interim SBA assessment.  If the majority of your class is still testing, please help us with make ups and have them test again on Monday.  If your class is mostly done and only have a few more testing, please sign them up on the make up testing schedule below and send them to the cafe by 8:!5 am on Monday, January 27 . Interim Make Up Testing Schedule Thank you all for for your flexibility as we worked out the modified schedule for resources and testing!  We will resume the regular resource and PLC schedules this week. For Wednesday’s fire drill, we will be using a modified signal via phone announcement.  This will be our backup method in the event our system is not working or does not work in an emergency event.  Our building checks during the drill are also an added layer to ensure all buildings are clear. Information for Faculty and Staff Leave Paperwork: As Laureen announced on Wednesday, we got feedback from an audit that our school needs to be more consistent in its leave paperwork. Please remember 2 Days 1. You need to turn in your personal leave requests at least 48 hours in advance.  2. You need to turn in your sick leave forms within 2 days of returning to campus Let admin know if you have any questions! 2nd Semester SSPs must be approved on PDE3 by February 7.  You should be working with your evaluator to have your SSP reviewed in an opening conference no later than February 4.  Please talk to your administrator if you have questions. Please DO NOT ADJUST the temperature on your thermostat for the air conditioning in your classrooms.  Contact Mike if your room temperature needs adjusting. Adjusting temperature can cause problems with the system.  Thank you! Ms. Marilyn Valencia will be available to sub again starting February 11....

Information for Faculty and Staff Thank you Mrs. Brown and Ms. Cuajunco for preparing the kids to present at UHWO to visitors from South Korea.  Also, thank you for those teachers who have agreed to host students in your classrooms this Friday (See email from Laura regarding the schedules for the day).  What an exciting way to showcase our school to these visiting students and their families! They learned about our school last week during our presentations and I know they are excited to see everything we told them about! Please note the schedule changes if for all resource schedules for the next 2 weeks (even if there is not testing on your resource day.  Welcome our new PE teachers, Ms. Yoko Liriano and Ms. Sharlene Paulino. Information for Faculty and Staff Happy New Year and Welcome Back!  We hope you enjoyed the holiday season and are refreshed and renewed for an exciting year to come! Thank you to our TA Cafeteria Manager Dean and the cafeteria staff for preparing our welcome back breakfast today!  What a great way to re-energize and start off the day. Welcome back to Derek who will be our TA cook. Lyle is currently working at Holomua Elementary. A BIG MAHALO to Ms. Christina Asencios for helping cover our 5th grade classroom for the weeks before break.  We are happy to announce our new teacher who will be starting this week in the 5th grade position, Ms. Jordyn Valdez. Ms. Asencios will return to her prior resource role and we will be welcoming 2 new PE teachers for resource classes which resume NEXT week-Ms. Sharlene Paulino and Ms. Yoko Liriano.
